We went here for my birthday celebration and loved it! We arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday night and brought my non-Filipino friends. We ordered Oxtail Kare Kare, Pork Sisig, and Fried Meat Platter, and 4 scoops of garlic fried rice. For dessert we ordered Halo-Halo and Turon Delight. This fed all 6 of us with leftovers to take home! Food was delicious and presentation was beautiful. We finished our dessert around 8pm and by then, the live band was ready to start jamming. Heart 2 Heart performed and sang such a wonderful birthday song for me. We spent the rest of our night dancing and having fun. We hadn't had that much fun in so long and it was much needed. Thank you Kusina Filipina for such a special birthday dinner! Can't wait to be back!

Looks like this restaurant was renamed MP Bistro. We liked all the food we got here. I'd definitely recommend it as a sit down Filipino food joint since magic wok doesn't do dine in yet. We thought the Manny Pacquiao gloves and belt on the wall were pretty cool. We ordered the kare kare, the Pancit bihon, the Shanghai lumpia, the lechon kawali and the garlic fried rice. Everything was pretty good. I'd probably rank magic wok above it in overall taste, but I would say this is one of the best that actually allows dine in. The waiters were pretty attentive, but be aware that the prices are not cheap. Each dish was around $20-25. Would definitely go again.

Came to eat here on a Monday night for dinner and it was pretty empty, which worked out so our group of 15 could get seated right away. The inside is decorated with manny Pacquiao pictures and a pair of his gloves! This place is actually called, "MP Bistro," and manny actually does partly own this restaurant (according to the employees that were there). They apparently have the same menu as previous, Kusina Filipina, but just changed ownership/name. We were told each dish would feed 2-3 people, but they were definitely bigger so we over ordered, but still ate pretty much all of it because we enjoyed the food! We tried their pancit, crispy pata, lechón, garlic rice, pork adobo, sisig, and sisig bangus. Everything was good! Great for sharing and filling. If you're looking for a good Filipino meal to enjoy with a group then I recommend MP Bistro. Service was also attentive and polite, thanks for a great dinner!

Visited Kusina Filipina on the way home from Disneyland. The restaurant was pretty big and there was only one group inside. We were seated right away. It was clean and the staff were very friendly, polite, and attentive. I ordered lumpia shanghai, garlic fried rice, pork bbq skewer, lechon kawali, and the turon delight. The pork bbq skewer was cold and the garlic fried rice lacked the garlic taste, plus the rice was a bit too moist. The garlic flavor came from the added fried garlic topping. Because of the food temp and the lack of garlic flavor in the rice, I'm giving a 4 star. The prices were a little higher than most Filipino eats. Other than that, everything else was good. The sauces gave the flavor boost to the food. It looks like they have live bands play since there was a pretty cool setup on the stage. They also had a bar on the side. It was a good experience, but there are other Filipino restaurants that I frequent when I'm in the area. Since it was Labor Day, my spots were closed and Kusina Filipina was open. Don't take my word for it. I'd still recommend the restaurant if you're in the area.

Fresh lumpia and pork sisig was my favorite. -1 the fish wasn't descaled throughly. It had rogue scales on it :( *Check-in on Yelp you will get a free soda. Staff is courteous, attentive and friendly. Large space with ample parking. They also host events during the evenings..

The servers here are so nice!! Came here for a Monday night dinner - no wait. Our server was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the Filipino dishes here, the servings are perfect to share for 2 to 3 people. Only indoor seating. The vibe is relax and we enjoyed our dine in because the staff here is helpful and nice. Free parking lot available. We enjoyed the items below: ** Kare Kare 5/5 - Perfect' Super Sarap. We already heard they have good Kare-Kare and we tried it and it sure was! ** Sinigang Bangus 4/5 - Lots of soup and vegetables. It's deliciously sour but there was only 3 pieces of milkfish. ** Crispy Pork Sisig 5/5 - Another super Sarap item! Crispy and sizzling when it got to our table. Overall- it was our first time trying Kusina Filipina and we will definitely come back again!

Went here as a plan b, due to a 2 hour wait at a near-by Filipino buffet! Nonetheless, I'm glad we've feasted here, as the food and service were top notch, and we had plenty of leftovers. Meat platter ($65: fried chicken, lechon kuwali [pork belly], crispy pata [pork knuckle], chicharon bulaklak [pork intestines], lumpia Shanghai): the chicken was a bit dry, but everything else was fire, 10/10! Even better with the sauces (vinegar, sarsa, sweet & sour, and banana sauce) on the side. Kare-kare (oxtail stew): best I've had, as the flavorful sauce was creamy, the veggies, and oxtail were tender, 9/10. Fresh lumpia ($): huge salad remix with a slightly sweet sauce, 8/10. Steamed white rice was $3 per scoop :( Service was attentive and quick. I'd return here to try other dishes, such as the pork belly sisig, beef steak tagalog, and seafood platter.

Food: Pinakbet 8/10 Very flavorful. Dish had nice plump shrimp and crispy pork in it. They do use a shrimp paste to sauté with the dish, so be mindful of ordering if you do not like the pungent taste of shrimp paste. A little salty but so good with rice! I love all the vegetables they had in this dish since I'm a huge fan of string beans and okra. Chicken Adobo 8/10 You really just can't do wrong with chicken adobo. I found it interesting that this spot included quail eggs in their adobo. That's the first time I've seen that. Flavor was good, tasted like some nice home made adobo. Halo halo 5/10 I'm used to having taro ice cream and more variety in terms of what beans and jellies they use. Maybe they ran out of taro ice cream? They had a taro paste in the dessert instead. Service: 9/10 We came during a time when it wasn't busy. Staff was friendly and prompt with their service. Ambiance: Casual dinning. Parking: It's in a huge plaza with other food options located there as well. Not too difficult to find parking.
